Day 5 - Theme Song

If your life was a television show, what would its theme song be? What music would be cued at the start of the show or when you entered a scene?

Think about this past year. Is there a song that you've heard that has really struck a chord, one that has spoken to you? Maybe there's a song that goes along with your one word for 2011. Maybe there is a song that you've heard that instantly cheers you up or makes you think of a special moment that happened this year?

This was a hard one for me as there are so many tracks that I could include; I will survive by Gloria Gaynor maybe, but although I still love that track, I feel I have moved beyond that. Strength, courage, wisdom by India Arie - maybe that would be a good one. Or even Rumour by Adele, in fact anything pretty much by Adele. Or Throw me a Line by Patty Griffin, or anything by Nick Drake or Muse. In the end I love to put the Red Hot Chilli Peppers on when I feel I need cheering up and this is one of my favourites of theirs. I sing along to pretty much everything that gets played at home, not always well but the intention is there!
